A Release Day With a Heavy Heart
Yes, it’s release week — Rescued By The Marquess, book #1 in my new Damsels in Distress series is officially LIVE! 🎉 But I find myself unable to celebrate in the usual way.
Like so many of you, I’ve been watching the heartbreaking news from Venezuela with a heavy heart. The scale of loss is almost unimaginable — and living in New Zealand, where earthquakes are a daily reality, it hits close to home. We know all too well what that kind of devastation feels like. The Christchurch and Kaikoura earthquakes of 2011 claimed over a hundred lives here, and yet what Venezuela is facing right now is on an entirely different scale.
So I’ve made a decision: every cent I earn from Rescued By The Marquessduring July will be donated to UNICEF NZ’s Venezuela Earthquake Emergency appeal.
It feels like such a small gesture in the face of so much suffering, but every little bit truly does help. I’ll report back in August to let you know what we were able to raise together.

Are Heroes Real?
