 More exciting news this month. My May 2012 Regency romance, INVITATION TO SCANDAL, has been nominated for BEST  HISTORICAL, in The Romance Review Book of the Year. TRR gave Invitation to Scandal a 5 star- Top Pick review. You can read it on the Invitation to Scandal book page...

I'm busy trying to put the finishing touches to Invitation to Passion (April 2013) and to finish my next contemporary for Entangled Publishing - The Nanny Trap (an enemies to lovers story).
On top of that, I've been trying to landscape and curtain my new beach house! Not the thing to do when on deadline.
I thought I'd give you a teaser from Richard and Madeline's story. Best friends who find themselves having to marry. It's made worse because Madeline believes Richard is in love with someone else...

For all s he’d been through Maddy looked composed, the dry note in her observation duly noted. He bowed deeply. “If you remember, I told you I had to find mother and give her the good news. She’s thrilled of course,” he lied for their audience who were watching and listening, crowding around, reminding him of vultures at a jungle feast. “Shall we make the announcement and toast our coming nuptials?”
Her face got paler. So not as composed as she would have them believe. He bent low over her hand and heard her whispered response, “You know this is not my choice?” When he stepped back he was startled by the defiant tilt to her shapely chin. His puzzlement grew. He thought Maddy would embrace the marriage. He’d not missed the fact she held a tendre for him.
