I’m posting a blog today because I’ve mucked up my dates for the Fresh Fiction blog – apologies. There was a little bit of miscommunication. The Fresh Fiction blog will post on 26 June 2012. Today I thought I’d tell you a little bit about my Wicked Wagers Trilogy. It’s my self-published eBook series (although I will put all three into book format in October this year). They sell on Amazon, B&N, Smashwords, Apply, Kobo, etc for $2.99. The first book in the trilogy, To Dare the Duke of Dangerfield got to #3 on the Amazon Best Seller List in Books Regency.
To Dare the Duke of Dangerfield, is Harlow’s story of revenge. On his father’s death, Harlow’s mother was seduced and left pregnant. Harlow is bent on gaining what is rightfully his step-brother’s inheritance by any means possible. When he wins the estate in a card game he is mortified to learn the property was actually in trust for the man’s daughter, Caitlin. He’s trapped. He’s promised his brother he’d win the estate for him. But when Caitlin asks for the chance to win the house back, Harlow is powerless to refuse. The couple instigate three dares, winner takes all and Harlow means all—he’ll win Caitlin too. Night Owl Reviews gave it a TOP PICK! You can buy the Ebook from Amazon, B&N, Smashwords, Apple, KOBO, and everywhere that sells eBooks. To Wager the Marquis of Wolverstone, is a bit darker. Marcus’s story is about forgiveness and sacrifice. At twenty two Marcus You can buy the eBook from Amazon, B&N, Smashwords, Apple, KOBO, and To Challenge the Earl of Cravenswood is much lighter. Henry’s tale is a take on Cinderella. A story of mistaken identity and misunderstanding. Three years ago Henry made the mistake of falling in love with his mistress. As the second son of an Earl he could have married her and lived quietly in the country, but then his elder brother dies and he becomes the Earl. His mistress leaves him, knowing he won’t find what he is really looking for with her—a home and family. A year later and he’s still pining. He decides one night, after salubrious quantities of alcohol, to marry the next lady that interests him. I’m still writing Henry’s story. Due for release early August 2012. Write a review on Amazon or B&N and receive the third novella, To Challenge the Earl of Cravenswood (released early August) for FREE. Simply email me a link to your review and your email address and in August I'll send you the third novella in the Wicked Wager trilogy for FREE! Enjoy the rest of the tour. The stories center around three handsome men, Harlow, Marcus and Henry. They are all so different from one another. Harlow is the Duke of Dangerfield and as such he is somewhat arrogant. Marcus, the Marquis of Wolverstone, is bitter due to the love of his life eloping with another man, and Henry, well Henry is the sweetheart of the three. He is looking for love. Up until now he hasn’t been looking in the right places.
fell in love with Sabine, a French émigré. He was going to ask for her hand in marriage but before he could, she up and eloped with another man. He was devastated. Marcus fortified his heart, determined to never let love blind him again. Ten years later, the widowed Sabine returns seeking his help to win the Gentleman’s Annual Whist Tournament. He agrees on one condition. If he wins Sabine will become his mistress for as long as he desires. And he has ferocious desires.
On his way home through his private garden he falls and hits his head, and in a drunken and concussed stupor, he dreams of kissing a mysterious lady. The next morning he awakens in the garden and realizes it’s not a dream, for he has her emerald and diamond earring in his hand. Henry is determined to find her and make her his wife. The young lady is just as determined to avoid being caught and when Marcus and Harlow get involved, Henry’s world disintegrates into a romantic comedy of gigantic proportions.
